"I completed some advanced driving sessions with Richard and he is so good at what he does that I felt more confident in my driving after only the first lesson. He explained things to me in a way I understood clearly, and was very patient and answered all my questions. He also sent me an email after each session going over what we did and things I needed to improve on, which I appreciated a lot as I can be quite forgetful so it was great to have something to look over. He is also very easy to talk to which always helps when you’re going for an hours drive together!

"Richard is truly an excellent driving instructor! He explains things clearly and in a simplistic way that made it easy to understand. He doesn’t only teach the basics to pass, but also teaches how to be a good driver. I was a nervous learner but that quickly changed when I started lessons with him. He’s very calm at all times which helped me a lot, and has good humour which is a plus! He also takes the time to email me a recap after each class so that I have notes to refer.
I’d highly recommend Richard to anyone who needs a driving instructor!"

"I contacted Richard after a long break in driving a car. My confidence was very low and I dreaded driving anywhere.
I had 3 classes with Richard, after the second class my confidence improved a lot and I am not terrified of driving, especially when there are more cars. We spent the third class on improving driving technique, especially country lanes.
Richard is a very calm instructor, he won’t force you to do anything you are not comfortable with. For instance, during the first class I drove only on small quiet roads with no cars which was the best thing for my lack of confidence. Since I already passed test, Richards asked me what I wanted to do during each class. I was More confident during the second class and we did some parking, going to nearby towns etc.
Richard gave me a lot of excellent tips to improve my technique - he sends a recap email after every class which is very helpful. My confidence is up, my technique improved. I highly recommend Richard, you are in safe, supportive hands"

"I'm certainly not a natural when it comes to driving - I last attempted (and failed) learning to drive about 7 years ago and hated every second! I decided to finally get learning again at the start of the year, and with Richard I've not only managed to ace the test, but also actually enjoyed learning!
Richard is an absolutely fantastic teacher, he explains things really effectively and his friendly and calm demeanor really helped put me at ease. Great sense of humour too! I think that Richard has not only taught me to pass the driving test, but also to be a confident, safe driver.

"Richard is an excellent driving instructor, taking me from complete beginner to passing my test first time. He is patient, kind, personable, communicative and informative. I always felt safe and comfortable. He has a clear and kinaesthetic teaching style. Often using small toy cars on paper with different road layouts printed on them, which I found especially helpful with roundabouts. Richard also would email me reports after each lesson with detailed feedback on what went well and not so well with practise recommendations.
